Germany Outlasts Falconets To Win U-20 Women's WorldCup

Lena Petermann scored in the first period of extra time as Germany
edged Nigeria, 1-0 to win the Under-20 Women's World Cup final at
Olympic Stadium in Montreal on Sunday.

It was Germany's third title and came in its fourth appearance in the final.

Germany previously shut out the Super Falcons, 2-0 on home soil in the
2010 final.

In the bronze-medal match, Aissatou Tounkara netted the winner in the
79th minute as France beat North Korea, 3-2
