challenges will have his full attention noting that a very important

confidence in the police force.

include that we (police) control crime and violent crimes. We will
come out with sustainable professional crime fighting strategies that
will take the public into consideration. Because when you (police)
don't have confidence of the public, don't expect them to assist you.
We will stop excesses in the exercise of power".

the era of tying the mission and vision of the Police force to the
incumbent in office was over saying rather it will be concentrated on
what the force needs moving forward.

"It will have nothing to do with my name or person but with the NPF.
The vision simply is for the force to be a leading national,
professional and efficient law enforcement organization. The vision is
to provide safety and security in Nigerian communities, protect and
respect human rights in preventing crime" Abba said.
