Little-known Nigerian midfielder Omoh Michael has been hogging the
headlines in Sweden in recent weeks for the right reasons.
The Dalkurd FF creative player scored again on Saturday to bring his
season tally to nine league goals and 14 overall in all competitions.
Dalkurd lost Saturday's match 2-1 to Athletic FC but aside scoring his
team's only goal, Michael was in fantastic form, causing problems for
the opponents.
His form for his second-tier club has reportedly caught the attention
of several clubs, which include giants FF Malmo and Sundsvall and
Dalkurd officials know that any moment from now, their prized jewel
may be starring for the big clubs in Europe.
The 23-year-old, who makes good use of his height, pace and presence
to overwhelm opposing defenders, has been described by a football
agent, Kennedy Adeborioye, as capable of solving Nigeria's midfield
problems s.
"As a midfielder, he also supports the attack very well. He has 14
goals so far this season to his credit and he is a fantastic player
who can rectify the problems in the Super Eagles midfield if given a
chance," Adeborioye said.
The player had trials at Enugu Rangers and Warri Wolves on the
domestic scene, before moving to Dalkurd three years ago.
