Ahead the 2015 Election, six Imo lawmakers are said to have been given
automatic ticket by the Imo APC party leadership courtesy of Governor
Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

Trumpeta gathered that the lawmakers have a serious pact with the
Governor who promised to return them back to power so as to fulfill
the agreement he has to make a special request from the APC
leadership.

Though it was difficult at the initial stage but later on, the party's
leader according to sources considered it necessary to return them
back based on earlier agreement making yesterday primaries a
formality.

The six lawmakers are (1) Ozurigbo Ugonna (aka OZB) Representing
Nwangele LGA (2) Hon Chief Mike Ndubuaka Representing Orlu LGA (3) Hon
Acho Ihim Representing Okigwe (4) Hon Nwafor Representing Ngor Okpala
(5) Member Representing Njaba LGA.

Trumpeta reporter revealed that the decision to give the six lawmakers
automatic ticket sparked off controversies when stakeholders gathered
at Imo government House.

The case of Acho Ihim coming back to represent Okigwe people in Imo
State House of Assembly was not welcomed by his people because
according to few stakeholders in Okigwe, it is the turn of the Okigwe
South and not the Okigwe North bloc.

Investigation revealed that people are opposing the automatic ticket
to the six lawmakers on the ground that it violates their charter of
equity.

In a chat with the information commissioner Hon, Chidi Ibe, he
disclosed that there is no cause for Alam

It was terrible for APC stakeholders of Oguta extraction as Police
tear gas ended the primaries scheduled at the council secretariat,
Oguta yesterday.

Our reporter who monitored the development reported that trouble
started when the chairman of the party in the LGA, Casmir Ohamara and
the Transition Committee Chairman of the party, Okonya were allegedly
accused of hijacking electoral materials meant for conduct of the
House of Assembly primaries.

Trumpeta learnt that when it appeared that the materials meant for the
election were kept in custody by the duo in favour of one of the
aspirants, Louis Obodo, who was former TC Chairman the camp of his
main challenger, Uzoma Ezediaro challenged the action leading to a
fierce battle at the council secretariat.

Police intervention in form of tear gas forced everybody to scamper
for safety while the materials for the election were said to be kept
in Police custody.

As at press time, all the delegates and aspirants had deserted the venue.

It was learnt that of the six aspirants three had stepped down for
Ezediaro even as the leaders had earlier adopt the Oguta Amaeshi-born
politician. In Mbaitoli, Ifeanyi Nnakaraonye won.

Owerri West proved bookmakers wrong when incumbent Innocent Eke
(Obilumba) lost to Victor Ikonne. Ironically Obilumba came third.
Lugard Osuji was returned unopposed after Akuchie stepped down while
Emeka Loyld won in Owerri North.

Thaddeus Oguike won in Ikeduru

Luke Chukwu won in Ohaji/Egbema, while Isu is deadlocked.
