Stella Oduah's Security Murders Three In Anambra

A report by The Nation says a security official in the convoy of the
immediate past Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, has shot
and killed three persons in Umuodu, Ochuche in Ogbaru local government
area of Anambra State.

Several people were also reported to have sustained injuries during
the incident. The tragedy which have been confirmed by the Anambra
State Police Command, however, took a new twist as the police claimed
no one died and only two people were injured.

Although, witnesses say the police claims are flawed. According to
Ekekee.com, it is not yet known if Oduah was in the convoy when the
incident happened.

Meanwhile, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Uche
Ezeh, has revealed that the individual who carried out the dastardly
act have been apprehended by the police.

He also added that the attack was carried out by a member of a
vigilante group attached to Oduah's security, and not a policeman.

The two individuals injured in the attack which Ezeh gave their name
as Chuka Okechukwu and Chukwuebuka, have been taken to the hospital
for treatment.

He said the police decision is based on information from members of
the community, but he added as the force is not relenting on the case
as investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of the incident.

Oduah was elected as a senator in Anambra on the Peoples Democratic
Party(PDP) platform and she is one of eight female senators to join
the 8th Senateof the federation.

Two weeks ago, a Federal High Court in Lagos ordered Coscharis Motors
Limited to release information regarding the controversial purchase
of two bulletproof carsby the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority
(NCAA) for Oduah, in 2013.
