Nigerian Students In Philippines Hail Ihedioha For Winning Guber Ticket

Hon Ihedioha's emergence as the Imo PDP guber flag bearer has been
lauded by students of the state studying in the Phillipines.

Imo states students studying in the Philippines have congratulated the
Deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives (HoR), Rt. HonEmeka
Ihediohafor his victory at thePeoples Democratic Party(PDP)
gubernatorial primaries.

Ihedioha became the party's guber flag-bearer after the December 8th
primaries where he polled a total number of 346 votes to emerge tops.

In a congratulatory message by the leadership of the Philippines
Chapter of theMbutu Mbaise Student in Diaspora(MMSD), the students
hailed Ihedioha's victory.

"We the Mbutu Mbaise student in diaspora (MMSD) Philippines Chapter
congratulates you on your political victory in the just concluded PDP
primaries."

"Sir we are not surprise for your well-deserved victory because you
have attracted numerous federal government project to our state,
ensured youth empowerment and job creation to mention but a few thing

"Be assured that we are ready to work with you in advancing Imo
state," the message read.

The President of the association, Cadet Nwachukwu Remigius Chigozie,
described the victory as a sign of the people's confidence in the
seasoned lawmaker.

"RT. Hon Emeka Ihedioha's victory shows the confidence of the people
of Imo State in his plans, especially as the victory took place in a
very competitive environment and an exemplary atmosphere of peace,
freedom and justice, as is the tradition in the IMO State," Chigozie
said.

Ihedioha has been the Deputy Speaker of the HoR since the 6th of June, 2011.
