Defence Headquaters Denies Retiring GOC Attacked By Soldiers

Contrary to earlier reports today that the Nigeria Military has
retired the former GOC, the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army,
Maiduguri, Maj. Gen. Abubakar Mohammed, who was attacked by soldiers
at their barracks in Maiduguri on May 14th, the Defence HQ just
tweeted denying the report through the twitter handle, @DefenseinfoNG

The tweet reads:

"FYA: The former GOC of 7 Division has not been retired as being
propagated by the Media. The General is still in active service as at
today."
