The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ukachukwu Awuzie
announced this to a delegation of visiting alumni stating that the
university's department of Mass Communication is set to commence test
transmission of an FM radio station, Star FM. The delegation was made
of of Prince Linus Okorie, President GOTNI, Barr Victor Nwadigo and Ik
Ogbonna, Principal Officers to the Governor of Imo State on IMSU
Affairs and Social Media respectively.
