Christmas: Okorocha Provides Free Transportation For Imo Indigenes In Lagos, Oyo

If you are an Imo State citizen and you stay in Lagos or Oyo state, do
not worry about your transport fare home, your governor has provided
buses that will convey you free of charge to Owerri, the state capital
on Wednesday, December 24, 2014.

Rochas Okorocha's administration is doing this to encourage Imo State
indigenes in the two southwest states to return home for the Christmas
celebration.

This was contained in a statement by the Imo State Liaison Officer,
Lagos State, Mr. Alfred Ononugbo.

Those interested in the offer in Lagos State are to assemble at the
National Stadium Surulere, Lagos tomorrow by 8am, while those in Oyo
State are to assemble at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, Mokola, in
Ibadan at 8am tomorrow for the journey.

Ononugbo assured Imo indigenes that adequate security had been
provided in all communities in the state.

The homecoming, according to him, would afford them the opportunity to
see the dividends of democracy delivered by the present administration
in the state.
