Nigeria's Golden Eaglets lost the opening leg of their 2015 African
Junior Championship final qualifying match 2-1 to hosts Gabon on
Sunday.
The match kicked off 24 hours late following the Nigeria U-17 side's
disengagement from an earlier flight in Lome, Togo, on orders of the
Gabonese authorities.
Scores were leveled 1-goal apiece at the break after Victor Osimhen's
opener was cancelled out by the hosts.
Gabon grabbed the winner in the second-half to build a slight
advantage ahead of the return leg slated for Nigeria in two weeks.
The overall winners progress to the group stages of the Caf U-17
championship billed for Niger in February.
