Nigeria will attempt to win a record seventh Africa Women's
Championship trophy today when they confront Cameroon in the final at
the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia.
The Super Falcons emerged tops in group A without dropping any point.
With excellent ball possession and passing accuracy, they made their
opponents look like fish out of water. While Cameroon on the other
hand relied on their physical strength to plough their way into the
final and they are equally aiming to out muscle the Super Falcons.
Their coach Enow Ngachu believes the Super Falcons have not been
tested in the tournament..
But his Nigerian counterpart Edwin Okon said he was confident that his
ladies would emerge champion today.
Midfielder, Asisat Oshoala has been wonderful and will be hoping to
add to her two goals tally in today's game.
Cameroon will look up to Deborah Enganamouit to deliver up front,
having scored three goals so far.
