Cisse Gets Three-Game Ban For Violent Conduct

Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse has received a three-match suspension
after accepting an FA charge of violent conduct.

This follows an incident during the Magpies 3-2 win over Everton on
Sunday involving defender Seamus Coleman. The Senegalese is believed
to have elbowed Coleman passed unnoticed by the match officials.

Cisse has accepted the charge and will now serve a three-match
suspension which starts with immediate effect.

The 29-year-old has scored nine times this season and has been named
in Senegal's squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in
Equatorial Guinea.

Ninth-placed Newcastle host Burnley on New Year's Day.
