President Jonathan Appoints Ado Bayero As New NPA Boss

President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of Mr Sanusi
Lamido Ado Bayero, as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports
Authority (NPA).

Mr Sanusi, a lawyer, from Kano State takes over from Mallam Habib
Abdullahi, who has been relieved of his appointment as Managing
Director of the NPA.

In a statement by President Jonathan's spokesman, Reuben Abati, the
appointment of the new NPA Managing Director takes effect from
Thursday, April 30.

President Jonathan thanked the outgoing managing director for his
services and wished him well in his future endeavours.
