Suspected Okada Thief Burnt To Death In Owerri West

A suspected thief met his untimely death on Monday in Umuchima
Community, West LGA of Imo State when irate mob set him ablaze beyond
recognition.

An eye witness disclosed that luck ran out of the suspect whose
identity is yet to be ascertained when the victim a member of a three
man robbery gang attempted to steal a motorcycle from a commercial
motorcycle operator, otherwise known as Okada in the area.

It all started when a group of people in Arusi lodge located in the
community organized themselves to be checking every motorcycle that
passes in the area, because of the problems they have been passing
through. On that fateful day several motorcycles were checked but one
of them suspected to be a criminal refused to be checked.
