Acho Ihim, representing Okigwe State constituency in the State
Assembly.
He was elected unopposed by the 27 members of the State Assembly. He
is believed to be a close ally of the state governor, Rochas Okorocha.
Similarly, Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo, representing Nwangele state
constituency was returned as the Deputy Speaker of the House.
Imo State House of Assembly was inaugurated on Thursday by Governor
Rochas Okorocha at the renovated State Assembly complex.
The House adjourned to Tuesday, 16th June, 2015.
