Decaying Corpse Of INEC Staff, 3 Other Ladies Discovered At A Room In Anambra

The decomposing corpse of an INEC staff and three other ladies have
been evacuated from a room in a building along Olisa Onyeka Crescent,
Commissioner's quarters, Ifite, Awka, by the state police command.



According to the state Commissioner of Police, Hassan Karma, the
policemen got wind of the incident following a tip off, The Sun
reports.

The four ladies reportedly died on Saturday night in a room without
any injury on their bodies.

One of the deceased, identified as Mrs. Chinwe Obi, said to be the
owner of the room, was a staff of Anambra State Independent Electoral
Commission INEC, Awka.

Neighbors said awful water was emitting from her (deceased's) room,
adding that she had not picked her phone since Sunday.

The landlady revealed that the deceased had lived in the building for 11 months.

Her husband had died the previous Friday.
