No fewer than 35 people, including five military officers, and a local
hunter were reportedly killed following a bomb explosion onThursday
morning around Mararaba-Mubi area of Adamawa State.
Eyewitness told Newsmen in Yola, the state capital, that a combined
team of the military and local hunters were on routine patrol of the
area when the bomb planted by the insurgents exploded, killing 35
people instantly.
According to eyewitnesses, the scene of the blast was a busy area
where people returning to the area after the recapture of Mubi gather
to do one business or the other.
