Buhari's N1m Unsettles Imo APC Delegates

Ahead of the December 10 National Convention of the All Progressive
Congress (APC), Imo State delegates to the exercise have been thrown
into a state of confusion by the N1m largess given to them by a
presidential aspirant, Muhamed Buhari.

The ex-head of state who visited Imo this week met with the delegates
at the Regent Hotels, Owerri, during which he lobbied them to vote for
him even when their principal, Governor Rochas Okorocha is also
reported to be running for the same ticket.

Trumpeta reports that given the large turnout of APC delegate present
during the visit of the former head of state there was a bit confusion
between the leadership and the party faithful as they could not come
to terms over the sharing formular of N1million meant to lobby them to
vote for him.

Mr Buhari who recently launched a crowd sourcing campaign on social
Media to raise funds for the primaries had in October revealed how he
took loam and borrowed from several banks to procure the APC
Presidential nomination and expression of interest form which cost
27.5 million.

The formal military leader who expressed dismay over cost of
nomination from which he described as expensive and how he took loan
and borrowed from several banks to purchase his form.

He expressed regret he couldn't influence the amount to be out down as
in the case of lands and disabled that intend to participate.
