Boko Haram Attacks Govt Properties In Yobe

On Saturday, 30th May, suspected Boko Haram terrorists burnt down
police station, local government secretariat and other government
buildings in Fika local government of Yobe state.

DAILY TRUST reports that Malam Ahmadu Maikano, a resident in Fika said
that gunmen went into the town in two hilux vans and 5 motorcycles
shooting sporadically .

''They burnt down police station, local government secretariat, LEA
and departments of health, works'', the resident said. They also
snatched an open van parked in the town and loaded it with food
stuffs, drinks and other essentials from the two provision stores they
forced opened.

The Yove Police command has however denied any knowledge of the attack.
