Imo 2015: Result Of Presidential/NASS Polls Will Shock Okorocha, APC --Ihedioha

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and PDP Governorship
candidate in Imo state, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha says the result of the
Presidential/ National Assembly elections in the state will shock Gov.
Rochas Okorocha and his party, the APC.

Ihedioha who spoke in Aba, Abia state while addressing Imo indigenes
living in the city, vowed that the PDP in the state will oust the APC
at the March 28 elections, adding that he decided to visit the Imo
community in Aba to inform them that he has been chosen as the
governorship candidate of the PDP in the elections.

"The Presidential / National Assembly polls on March 28 will shock
Rochas Okorocha. March 28 will prove to him that we are not joking;
PDP will the 3 senatorial and House of Representatives seats. Ndi Imo
are suffering because of Rochas Okorocha bad governance. He has killed
every sector of Imo economy. Imo used to be the first in education,
but today we are among the last. Check the results of WAEC, NECO or
JAMB; you will understand the damage Rochas Okorocha has done to Imo.
He has killed education in Imo state. In no distant time, our sorrows
will turn to joy. I urge you all to vote PDP wherever you are."

The PDP candidate further accused Okorocha of running Imo state as his
private business with family and friends. The PDP candidate also
circulated a leaflet showing the monthly allocations to all the 27
local government areas alleging that Okorocha has failed to use it to
better the lots of the people of the state.

"Check this list, you will see all the billions of Naira that has
accrued to all the 27 local government area of Imo state. Aboh Mbaise
has received N7.2 billion since Rochas Okorocha came to power but what
has he done with the money? Nothing. All the industries in Imo state
have closed shop. Abia and Imo are same, but Rochas Okorocha has
spoilt the good relationship between the two sister states. I want to
use this opportunity to apologize to our Abia states to forgive him
because it is not in the character of the Imo man to behave like
Okorocha has been doing."

While commending Ihedioha for his achievements in office including the
attraction of federal projects to all the local governments in the
state, President of the Imo Community in Aba, Chief Tony Emeh
described the PDP candidate as a son in whom Imo people are well
pleased.

He called on Imo people living in the state and beyond to support
Ihedioha and other PDP candidate to liberate Imo from Okorocha's
misrule.
