Rohr Named Burkinabe Football Federation's Coach

Genort Rohr has been appointed by the Burkinabe Football Federation as
coach of the national team.

In 2008, Rohr was appointed by Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel but was
sacked in May, 2009 following a third place finish in the league,
outside of the 2010 CAF Champions League places.

In June 2009, he was named as the new head coach of the Ligue 2 team
FC Nantes, his contract running till 30 June 2011. He didn't last till
then as he was fired on December 3, 2009.

In 2010, he took charge of the national team of Gabon, replacing Alain Giresse.

The Franco-German's tenure with the Panthers lasted until after the
2012 Africa Cup of Nations and then he took over at Niger until
October 2014 when he resigned.
