Falconets seek first win against Korea

The Falconets will today seek to put the hopes of winning their first
World title back on track as they file out against their counterparts
from Korea Republic.

The Nigerians had played a 1-1 draw against the El-Tri of Mexico on
Wednesday and will hope to beat the Koreans who had also played a draw
against England on Wednesday too.

Falconets coach, Peter Dedevbo, had said that his focus would be on
the attack which had proved wayward against the Mexicans on Wednesday.

"Looking ahead to the next match I want to work on every position on
the field - goalkeeper, defence, midfield, but the most important
thing we need to improve on is our finishing," he told Fifa.com after
Wednesday's draw.

The Falconets will be banking on midfielder, Asisat Oshoala, who
caused a lot of problems for the Mexicans to reenact the form which
saw her emerge as the Live Your Goal player of the match today.

Although the Koreans have the strength of playing as a team, the
Nigerian defence will have to live up to its billing to curtail their
attackers as was done against Mexico.
