Imo State governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has denied the rumour
making the rounds that the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease, EVD, has
berthed in the state.
Okorocha, who made the denial in a brief broadcast to the citizenry on
the Ebola disease, however, cautioned against procession with corpses
and taking them to churches.
"The deadly disease called Ebola is not in Imo State and will never
come to the state. There is no cause for alarm in the state over the
dreaded disease,"
