Fayemi Imposes Dusk To Dawn Curfew In Ekiti

In a bid to restore peace to the state after the gruesome murder of
the former chairman ,National Union of Road Transport Workers
(NURTW),Chief Omolafe Aderiye,Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi
has imposed a dust to down curfew in the state.

Aderiye, an ardent supporter of the state governor-elect,Mr Ayo Fayose
was killed by yet to be identified gunmen at his office , Ijigbo
Street, Ado Ekiti on Thursday.

Fayemi who condemned the spate of attacks of the state High Court on
Monday and Thursday by some political thugs in which some judges
including Justice John Adeyeye were physically assaulted, pointed out
that a temple of justice should not be desecrated

"Also, I have taken the decision to institute a dusk to dawn curfew in
the state immediately.

Accordingly, there would be no movement between the hours of 7.00 p.m.
and 7.00 a.m. everyday till further notice.'
