when her first son's girlfriend gave birth to a baby girl. For the
brand new grandma, this was more than a surprise gift. It was the
fulfillment of one of her wishes to have a female offspring.
The actress was quoted, in a recent interview published in a popular
tabloid, as saying that she felt great welcoming her granddaughter.
She said, "Now that I have a girl in the family, it feels cool,
really. Children are a beautiful gift from God. The best thing about
being a grandmother is the fact that as a Christian, God's promise of
keeping me alive to see my children's children has been fulfilled."
