Plane 'crashes near Iranian airport'

Reports from Iran say a small passenger plane has crashed near an
airport in the capital, Tehran.

The aircraft went down at Mehrabad airport, in the west of the city,
on Sunday morning, state news agency Irna reported.

State TV said there were 40 people on board.
