A Virgin Atlantic flight bound for London Heathrow has been forced to
turn around after a passenger became disruptive, officials say.
The 26-year-old man, identified as "Robert", "lost control on board
and didn't allow instructions from staff", a police spokesperson told
AFP.
After over an hour in the air, the flight had to turn back to land in Hong Kong.
Authorities say that the man has been arrested and sent to hospital.
The passenger, who had been shouting, was arrested for violating the
Aviation Security Ordinance.
The remaining passengers on flight VS201 were offered accommodation in
Hong Kong and were due to fly out again on Monday evening.
