Three killed in Atlanta house fire

Three victims, two of whom were elderly, passed away in a house fire overnight.

The fire broke out shortly after 2 am on Tuesday at a split-level
house in the 3500 block of Revere Road in southwest Atlanta.

Atlanta Fire spokeswoman Janet Ward confirmed the deaths, but did not
immediately release the identities of the victims.

Neighbors told 11Alive News the victims had lived in the home for
about 18 years. The elderly man who lived there was bedridden. There
were oxygen tanks inside the house; neighbors said they heard the
tanks exploding in the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
