In the other cadre of the election, chairman of the technical
committee of the immediate past board Barr. Christopher Green polled
26 votes to defeat his rival Oswald Atueke from Cross River State.
Two other candidates from the South South, Chief Abel Ehigie from Edo
State and Chief Jarrett Tenebe also from the same state had earlier
stepped down for Green.

For the position to represent the North Central, former members of the
immediate past board, Hon. Suleiman Kwande from Plateau State and
Ahmed Yusuf Fresh from Niger State scored 38 and 34 votes
respectively.
Former Coach of the Super Eagles, Biteus Bewarang from Plateau state
gathered 11 votes only.
To complete the representation for the South West who had earlier
produced the first vice president, Sunday Dele-Ajayi from Ondo State
scored 34 votes while his rival Leye Adepoju had six votes.
In the North West, Sharif Rabiu Inuwa was elected after Balele Aminu
from Katsina stepped down for him. Former head of competitions in the
NFF, Tukur Babangida did not come for the election.
North West had to produce just one ordinary member because Ibrahim
Guzau from Zamfara State emerged unopposed as the chairman of
chairmen.
From the North East, Kachalla Baba Ghana from Bornu State scored 21
votes to make it to the board just as Modibo Husssini from Taraba
State had 28 votes to be on the board.
The South East who had three representatives in the last board
including the Chairman of the Nigerian National League (NNL), Chief
Emeka Inyama had only one representative pending the end of the tenure
of the leadership of the leagues.
After a keenly contested exercise Chief Felix Ayansi scored 26 votes.
He defeated Obikwelu Benjamin from Anambra State who had four votes,
Okenwa Chidi- Ofo from Enugu State had 10 and Barr. Ikechukwu Igbokwe
of Anambra State scored four votes.
