Nigeria Under-20 national team secured a comfortable 3-1 win against
hosts Senegal at the 2015 African Youth Championship (AYC) in Dakar on
Sunday.
The record six-time African champions hit the ground running thanks to
a Taiwo Awoniyi brace and Ifeanyi Matthew's brilliant strike either
side of Sidy Sar's consolation.
The Flying Eagles dominated a lively first half proceedings, which
produced all four goals, and confidently held out for maximum points
at the Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor.
Nigeria's Flying eagles are Hoping to Go All the Way in the 2015 AYC.
Congo and Cote d'Ivoire will look to join Nigeria at the summit when
they square up in the other group game at the same venue immediately
after.
