The ongoing feud between the President of the Nigeria Football
Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick and the General Secretary of the
football body, Musa Amadu, has taken another dimension as the
secretary general has quit his position after over four years on the
job.
According to information obtained on the official website of the NFF,
Amadu's resignation was dated March 18, 2015 and has already been
accepted by the executive committee.
Amadu, 53, was made NFF general secretary in July 2010. His
resignation is not unconnected with the row he had with NFF president
Amaju Pinnick on Wednesday.
The NFF has announced Mohammed Sanusi as the new general secretary.
Sanusi, who was Amadu's assistant, was also the director of
competitions at the football body.
