9yr Old Falls Down Tree, Meets Jesus And Recovers From Childhood Illness

A nine-year-old who fell 30ft inside a hollow tree claims she 'went to
heaven and sat in Jesus' lap,' while unconscious.

Christy Wilson Beam, 42, says she was amazed that her daughter
Annabel, now 12, escaped the horrific fall completely unscathed - and
even woke up 'miraculously cured' of a chronic childhood illness.

In December 2011, Annabel was playing with her sisters Abigail, now 14
and Adelynn, now 10, near her house in Texas when she slipped and fell
inside a hollowed-out cottonwood tree.

She hit her head three times and was knocked unconscious.

Alerted by the family, a fire crew managed to harness Annabel to
safety and she was rushed to Cook Children's Hospital in Forth Worth
by helicopter.

Fearing the worst, medics prepped brain and spinal injury teams to
stand by for Annabel's arrival - but, incredibly, she survived without
a scratch.

Even more incredible were the stories Annabel began to share in the
days afterwards.

She told her parents: 'I went to heaven when I was in that tree. I sat
in Jesus' lap.'

Mum Christy claims she wasn't playing around. 'This wasn't like one of
her long, spun-out recaps of a funny dream or movie she'd seen,' she
says.

Annabel also told her parents that the gates of heaven are made of
gold and that Jesus had said to her it wasn't her time.

Christy was initially concerned that Annabel was suffering from a head
injury, but MRI and CT scans revealed she hadn't sustained one.

Further tests also showed Annabel was no longer displaying symptoms of
pseudo-obstruction motility disorder, a rare incurable condition that
had seen her in and out of hospital since 2008.

The disorder meant she had to have a liquid diet, or only eat plain,
soft foods. She also took ten different types of medication each day.

But, doctors have cut that down to three per day, while Annabel can
now eat McDonald's and pizza if she fancies.

Annabel's dad can't help but put it down to what happened in the tree.
'I can't explain what happened to her physically while she was in that
tree,' said Mr Beam, who's a vet.

'All I have to go on is the radiological data and the medical records
from before and after. The proof is in the pudding. She wasn't well
before and now she is,' he added.

Asked what Jesus looked like, Annabel said: 'He had a beautiful long
white robe, dark skin and a big beard - kinda like Santa Claus, but
not really.'
