Nigerians Fault Buhari's Approval Of N9B Wardrobe Allowance For NASS

Nigerians have reacted to reports that the National Assembly members
will receive a total of N8.64billion as a wardrobe allowance next
week.

The reports that each of 360 House of Representatives members is to
get N17.5million as a wardrobe allowance and each of 109 senators is
to get N21.5million, have been greeted with total shock and disbelief
by peeved Nigerians.

According to them, wardrobe allowances for senators and lawmakers is
not a great example of 'change.'

Meanwhile, in terms of presidential cars, there is change indeed.
While the ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan used an ordinary
Mercedes-Benz S 350, President Muhammadu Buhari prefers a much more
expensive and luxury model, a Mercedes- Maybach S600.
