Ekiti, who was abducted by unknown gunmen last week, has just been
released.
Bishop Ajakaye, who spoke with newsmen, confirmed that he was
contacted by the abductors to pay the sum of 200 million Naira for
his release
He added that they did not pay a kobo for his release, although all
religious leaders in the state have been praying for the safe release
of Rev. Akingbade
The Police Commissioner, Ekiti State Command, who spoke on telephone,
said that three arrests have been made.
So far, journalists have not been allowed to see the victim.
