precisely Owerri...has made the residents to be on high alert for such
criminals. As they hypnotize unsuspecting victims and rob them of
their possessions, some even go as far as cajoling the victims using
JUJU powers, to go and bring any money they can lay hands on in their
house, bank account, shops e.t.c.
Once a victim falls into their net, They can operate on him or her for
the entire day as they use the tri-cycle commuters to transport the
victim to anywhere they will get the money from.
This afternoon, as about 1:30pm in the commercial city of owerri; Ikenegbu.
One of those criminals was caught and lynched as the Tricycle(keke)
driver, on noticing the unusual and fraudulent discussions going on
between the passengers (victim and fraudster) as he drove, had to stop
and raised alarm which led to the capture of the fraudster. His victim
remained hypnotized and confused until he was dazed several deafening
slaps which brought him back to his senses. The fraudster was then
mercilessly beaten almost to the point of death till he was rescued by
some policemen and taken to the station.
